You’re the Haunt. Other players are investigating, and you’re working against them.

Mislead the Humans and protect your anchors. The clock is on your side.
A smaller space.
A better kind of chaos.
The core loop worked. The ship was too big.
Our first playable blockout helped us test the investigation and sabotage loop. Moving from a ship to a motel gives that same conflict a tighter, more focused space.
The motel brings rooms, balconies and stairs around a central courtyard, with a swimming pool at its heart. It’s a location built to keep both sides close to the action.
Steam lobbies have been tested on two physical Windows PCs using separate accounts. UI and music work are also underway.
Sound, onboarding, animation, feedback and final art still need work. Bad Haunts is in development; there’s no announced release date yet.

Mons Games is an independent, creator-led studio. We make systems that bring players together, then leave room for the unexpected.
Right now, that means Bad Haunts: one location, two opposing sides, and a match shaped by the people playing it.
