OMG ("the App") is a privacy-first application provided by Mons Games. We believe in keeping your data yours. This policy explains what information we collect and how it is used.
OMG does not require you to create an account, log in, or provide any personal information (such as your name, email address, or phone number) to use the App. We do not have access to your identity.
A. Local Usage Data (On-Device)
All your Watchlists, Favorites, and Preferences are stored locally on your device using Apple's secure
storage system (Keychain and UserDefaults). This data never leaves your device and is deleted if you
uninstall the App.
B. Remote Control Feature
The App includes a "Remote Control" feature to control Smart TVs (Samsung, LG, Vizio, etc.).
Local Network Access: To discover and connect to your TV, the App scans your local Wi-Fi
network.
No Cloud Processing: All communication between the App and your TV happens directly over your
local network. We do not collect or upload your network information or device details to any external
server.
C. Third-Party Services
We use The Movie Database (TMDB) API to provide movie and TV show information, images, and metadata. By
using the App, you acknowledge that content data is provided by TMDB. We do not share your personal data
with TMDB.
Since we do not collect personal data or store your usage history on our servers, there is no risk of your personal data being breached from our side. Your local data is protected by your device's security features (FaceID, Passcode).
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page.
