Talkboy ("we," "our," or "the app") is an AI-powered communication coaching app developed by Mons Games. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use Talkboy.

Key Commitment

We do not own or operate any external database. All your data stays on your device. We do not store, sell, or share your personal conversations.

1. Information We Process

1.1 Text Messages

When you paste or type a message into Talkboy for analysis, the text is sent directly from your device to Google's Gemini API for real-time AI processing. We do not intercept, log, or store this text on any server we control.

1.2 Screenshots (Photo Library)

You may optionally upload screenshots of your text conversations from your device's Photo Library. These images are:

• Resized and compressed directly on your device.
• Sent directly to Google's Gemini API as encoded data for real-time analysis.
• Never stored on our servers, never uploaded to any database we control, and never used for any purpose beyond the immediate analysis.

1.3 Analysis Results

The AI-generated analysis results (scores, suggestions, rewrites) are stored exclusively on your device using the iOS Keychain — Apple's most secure on-device storage mechanism. This data never leaves your device after the initial AI processing.

2. Third-Party AI Processing

Talkboy uses the Google Gemini API to process your messages and images. When you submit content for analysis:

• Your text and/or images are transmitted via a secure HTTPS connection directly from your device to Google's servers.
• Google processes this data according to their Gemini API Terms of Service.
• Google's API processes data in real-time and does not use API-submitted data to train their models (per their enterprise API terms).
• We have no ability to access, view, or retrieve any data you send to the Google API.

3. Data Storage

We do not operate a backend database. All analysis history, favorites, and preferences are stored locally on your device using the iOS Keychain (Security framework). This means:

• Your data is encrypted by iOS at the hardware level.
• Your data is not accessible to other apps.
• Your data is not synced to iCloud or any cloud service by us.
• Deleting the app removes all stored data permanently.

4. Data We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect your name, email, phone number, or any personally identifiable information.
• We do not use analytics services, trackers, or advertising SDKs.
• We do not store your messages or images on any server.
• We do not sell, share, or transfer your data to any third parties (beyond the Google Gemini API for real-time processing).
• We do not use your data to train any AI models.

5. Your Rights (GDPR & CCPA)

For EU/EEA Residents (GDPR): Since we do not store your personal data on any server, there is no personal data for us to access, rectify, delete, or port. All data resides on your device and is fully under your control. You can delete all data by deleting the app.

For California Residents (CCPA): We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Since no personal information is collected or stored on our servers, the categories of personal information collected in the preceding 12 months is: none.

6. Children's Privacy

Talkboy is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly process data from children. If you believe a child under 13 is using the app, please contact us.

7. Security

We take your privacy seriously:

• All API communication uses HTTPS/TLS encryption.
• On-device storage uses the iOS Keychain with strict protection classes.
• API keys are embedded securely at build time and are not exposed to users.

8. Medical Disclaimer

Talkboy is NOT a substitute for professional therapy, psychological counseling, medical advice, or crisis intervention. It is an AI communication tool designed to help improve how you express yourself. If you are in immediate danger, experiencing abuse, or need mental health support, please contact local authorities or a crisis helpline.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
